Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi National park
Pickup will be from your hotel in Kigali Rwanda and proceed for a Kigali genocide tour where you shall learn more about the Rwanda’s past genocide. After this, you shall proceed for a drive to Bwindi via the Gatuna border. Depending on the time you depart Kigali, you shall have lunch in Kabale before transferring to Bwindi. Upon arrival, spend the entire evening relaxing or proceed for an optional Batwa cultural encounter. Batwa live in the forest and still practice their old way of life. Return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight as you await tomorrows adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation
Start your gorilla trekking day with a briefing for gorilla trekking do’s and don’t’s starting at 7:30am and is conducted by the Warden and his team of Rangers at the park offices.
After the briefing, you shall do your registrations and later be grouped into 8 and have a single gorilla family allocated to you. All the best, it’s now time for your adventure in the jungle as you search for these amazing gentle giants. After locating the mountain gorillas, you have one full hour to watch them as they play, relate and feed. You shall understand why many guests consider Uganda gorilla trekking as a once-in-a-life-time encounter. In short the time spent her is magnificent.
After the encounter, return to the gorilla trekking starting point and collect your Gorilla Trekking certificate before proceeding to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing community boat trip.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali
Unfortunately, every good thing must come to an end. Start the journey to Kigali immediately after breakfast. If for some reason you didn’t have the Kigali City tour on day one, you shall have the same today and experience the best Kigali has to offer. Otherwise, you shall drive straight to the Kigali Airport or your hotel accommodation in Kigali before you are dropped off by our safari guide.
