The Equator is an imaginary line that divides the Earth into two hemispheres namely, the Southern hemisphere and the Northern hemisphere.

This designated point is located in the western region of Uganda in Mpigi District, Kayabwe town. The Equator crosses through Uganda from West to East while spanning through numerous Ugandan districts.
