2 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking from Kigali

A Friendly Gorillas safari guide will pick you up from Kigali international airport or your hotel and brief you about what you should expect during the two days as you go gorilla trekking in Uganda.
Before your journey to Uganda, you will have an opportunity to embark on a sensational city tour of Kigali and tour sites like the Genocide museum, the local Kigai market. After touring the city, you will embark on a 4 hours’ drive to Bwindi through the Katuna (Uganda – Rwanda border).
After Katuna watch out for the beautiful sceneries. Rwanda has eye-catching rolling hills and plantations while Uganda has dense green forest around the Bwindi area. Drive to your lodge in Bwindi and have an evening of relaxation and preparation for tomorrow’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Today is the highlight of your 2 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking from Kigali. Our guide will pick you after having a delicious breakfast and take you to the park offices where you will be briefed and given information regarding tracking gorillas in Bwindi.
After the briefing, you will watch the performance from the local community women, do registration before you are assigned a gorilla group and given an opportunity to hire a porter at a cost of 15USD.
After double checking that you have everything you need for the adventure, you shall now depart for the jungle hike. Once you spot the gorillas, take as many photos as you can and try to follow instructions from the wardens/guides. After completing the trek, proceed to the gorilla trekking starting point (headquarters) and collect your Trekking Certificate before embarking on a drive to Kigali where you shall be dropped by your safari guide at the airport or Kigali accommodation of your choice.
