Upon your arrival at the airport, you shall be picked by your safari guide who shall brief you before embarking on a long drive to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most famous park.
This is a long drive but luckily, there are several beautiful sightings that shall make the drive appear shorter. You shall start by a stopover at Uganda’s equator where you shall undertake a Uganda Equator experience as you understand further about how life turns differently in the northern and southern hemisphere.
After the experience, proceed driving past Lake Mburo and have lunch in Mbabra. You shall later drive and reach in Fort Portal, if you have enough time proceed for the crater hike or branch at the Amabere ga nyina mwiru for a falls hike. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

The Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a diverse range of vegetation and wildlife. Early in the morning, you shall depart for the park div in the Kashenyi plains with spectacular backdrop of ridges, woodland, and crater lakes, with the Rwenzori mountains in the background, you shall start your morning search for the parks wildlife including antelopes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, hippos and many more other sightings.
The abundance of animals gives an excellent opportunity for game viewing in the morning when predators are on the lookout for prey and before they go back into hiding.
After this great encounter, you retire from the adventure and prepare for the afternoon activity, take a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel towards Lake Edward, where you will see many wild creatures that visit to its waters and those that dwell there, as well as countless bird species. Here possible sightings are; hippos, crocodiles, fish eagle, beautiful turaco, etc.
Finally, you shall have an amazing chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park’s before embarking on a transfer to Bwindi.
After arriving at the briefing point, you shall depart to search for the apes in the jungle but you shall see many other primates here including baboons, monkeys and more. Return to the starting point and prepare for a Bwindi transfer.
Through the Isasha sector, found in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth, drive to Bwindi with possibility of sighting the famed tree-climbing lions as they climb fig trees after their meals to relax, enjoy the breezes, and easily see their prey due to the thick savanna grass.
Drive and arrive in Bwindi in the early evening and do an optional Batwa cultural experience. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
4 hours of driving time
Today is your day for the unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure that takes you through the dense impenetrable jungle in search of gorillas. After having a lush breakfast, your driver guide shall drive you to the gorilla trekking headquarters. You shall leave your lodge with packed lunch. Remember the adventure may take up to 8 hours, you don’t want to starve after the demanding walk in the jungle. In fact, pack some of your own bites (snacks) and enough water for the day.
The park warden shall brief you before a registration and allocation of a gorilla trekking family. Only 8 people are allowed to visit a single gorilla family.
With the help of your potters, your ranger guide will bring you into the forest on well-marked trails, but soon you will be off to the woods and thickets, finding your way to the incredible mountain gorillas of Uganda. Upon locating them, you have one hour to watch them at close proximity. Take as much photos as you want and return to the starting point immediately to collect your Gorilla trekking certificates.
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening of relaxation as you enjoy a community boat ride in the lake of 29 islands. Return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Today marks the very end of your 5 Days Uganda gorilla and Wildlife safari. Immediately after your breakfast, you shall depart for a drive to Kampala or Entebbe. Make a stopover at the Equator for lunch and last day photography before proceeding for a drop off at your Entebbe accommodation or if your departure flight is tonight, our driver guide shall bid you farewell and drop you at the Entebbe International Airport.
