Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Our driver will collect you up from your accommodation or the Entebbe international airport, brief you, and then take you to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Sanctuary for White rhino tracking and then proceed to Murchison Falls.

You will eat lunch in Masindi town at one of the classic hotels in the Masindi area. You will arrive at Murchison Falls and your driver will take you on a game drive where you will see a variety of animals such as impala, elephants, lions, leopards, and bee-eaters, to name a few.

You will check-in the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

After breakfast, go on a sunrise game drive that will give you spectacular view of herbivores like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes actively grazing in the savanna plains as the Nocturnals like lions, leopards, hyenas going back to shelter for resting.

After lunch, return to the Nile River for an afternoon excursion. You will travel by boat to the bottom of the falls, where the water rushes itself out of the tight rocks. While sipping water on the riverbank, you sightsee crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes as well as the prehistoric shoebill stork bird. you will procced to hike to the top of the falls that will give you breathtaking views of the cascading waterfalls as the mighty river Nile forces itself into a narrow gorge causing a rainbow and splash of misty droplets from bottom to the top of the falls. You will then return to the resort for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, the driver will transport you to Kibale National Park. Kibale National Park offers an evergreen forest with a rich assortment of landscapes, fauna, and bird species. Kibale National Park is home to numerous chimps and features a chimp habituation center. You will drive via Lake Albert, where you will have a wonderful view of the lake, before continuing on to Hoima for lunch. When you arrive in Kibale National Park, check into the lodge for supper and sleep.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Nature walk

You will have breakfast very early in the morning and then drive to the park’s headquarters for a briefing on the rules and guidelines for chimp tracking. You will begin your hunt in the jungle, where you will see species such as bush pigs, elephants, and blue monkeys, to name a few.

During the chimp tracking procedure, bird species and the evergreen savannah vegetation of Kibale National Park will be seen. You’ll return to the lodge for lunch before going on nature hikes in the nearby community. Dinner and sleep at the same lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, our experienced driver will transport you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way to the park, we may see climbing lions from the park, buffaloes, waterbuck, and Uganda kobs, to name a few. You will check into the lodge, eat lunch, and then go on an evening wildlife drive. Dinner and lodging at the lodge.

Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Wake up, have breakfast, and go on a game drive. Early game drives are very exciting because the animals are still sunbathing and haven’t gone hunting yet. The guide will assist you in seeing wildlife such as elephant herds, lions, and leopards, to name a few and numerous bird species. You then go back to lodge have lunch and set off for boat ride where you be able to spot hippos, crocodiles and flamingos at the water side. Back to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Kampala

Take an African cup of coffee and head to Kampala. While returning, the driver will drive slowly to allow you to see more animals. You will have lunch in Kampala before being driven to the airport or accommodation. The 7-day Uganda safari has come to an end.
